The Brisbane based oil company Central Petroleum has decided to buy licenses for use of CSD
After a test installation in January and a following evaluation period, the Brisbane based oil company
Central Petroleum has chosen to buy licenses to use the CSD (Completion String Design) application. Central Petroleum is a major player in the onshore gas production in Australia with operations in Amadeus Basin, Georgina Basin, Wiso Basin and Pedirka Basin.
Gard Karlsen, managing director and co-founder of Completion Services says “
We are very pleased to get yet another customer in Australia. The CSD application is already in use at Oil Search (since 2010) and Woodside (since 2015) and it proves that the application is extremely useful to both onshore and offshore operators. The wells might vary in terms of complexity and setup, but all the oil companies needs a good application to be able to draw completion schematics in a structured way and a database to keep track of both well history and documentation. We are happy to welcome Central Petroleum to the CSD family and look forward to working with them in the years to come”.
