Statoil has used the CSD application in Norway and around the world since 1994 to keep track of their well schematics and well history
For many years,
Statoil has been one of the most important users of CSD and our services. Statoil has used the CSD application in Norway and around the world since 1994 to keep track of their well schematics and well history. In addition to this, work has been done to integrate the CSD software with Statoil’s daily drilling reporting system (DBR) and with Wellcom (Statoil’s portal for drilling and well data). This allows Statoil to have source data in one database and still use CSD to present well schematics that gives a great overview of the completion details. Completion Services will also continue to contribute with quality assurance of well completion data in both CSD and DBR to make sure that the engineers can trust the information. We look forward to continuing the close cooperation with Statoil, and to making CSD an even better product.
Get in touch with Managing Director Gard Karlsen (
gard.karlsen@csd.as) if you want to know more about the quality assurance services that can be provided. Note that CSD can be easily integrated with portals by the use of our web interface Cdim.
