Completion Services has released CSD version 8.2 and this is the
release notes for the version. The two most important new features in this version are dynamic attributes and new datum functionality. Dynamic attributes will allow us to configure CSD in such a way that additional properties can be registered for various equipment. One example is the option of registration of polymeric materials in connection for packers while being able to put in orifice size on a gas lift valve.
The functionality regarding datum been changed in 8.2. You will now define the various rigs that has been involved in the operation and you can choose to see the depths according to the various rigs or from MSL. If you are operating onshore you can see the depths from Ground level.
